Re: setting up my suspenders
Get your static sag set right for a start (I go for 35mm rear, 25mm front). damping is a fine art, and I still haven't mastered it yet. There are loads of web pages on the subject for you to have a go at doing a reasonable job. If you do a trackday, its worth gettin it set up there proplerly. Got my Ohlins set up for my weight on my 7R and its made a massive difference.

Re: setting up my suspenders
08 -10R is very soft isn't it? Didn't The_shadow try one of these or something?
Set sag first, then do bounce test to check rebound. When I did this I couldn't get it balanced 'cos the front was short of rebound. Felt lots better with the rear rebound set a little faster to match the front. If it has HSC adjuster just set it around middle. |
