streetfighter project - fuel light
 
hi all im currently doing a streetfighter for a mate but after having dif clocksd put on this has now left him without a fuel light. i know there is a sensor in the tank but does anyone know how to wire a new one in?

You'd have to make up some kind of circuit to do it, the sensor is IIRC a three wire sensor that has two different resistances that change when the petrol level falls under certain levels. You can't just attach a bulb. :(

I can't remember exactly what I did (could probably find out) but as its two sensors I wired up two lights for it- straight off the SV loom. If you look at the SV wiring diagram in Haynes you can figure it out (I managed to).
