Re: Headlight covers
I remember seeing a while back some headlight protectors that were made of a fine mesh and coloured.
During the day, with lights off, they look solid. With the light on, the proximity to the light means that the light output isn't effected so they just look and work like normal headlights. For a good comparison, have a look at the front of your microwave, light on/light off. Similar principle (but I know thats not what the mesh is there for before someone else says) Ste |

Re: Headlight covers
my mate has solid black ones with holes cut in them on his yellow sv1000, runs his main beam all the time you can see him coming a mile off but it dosent dazzel you! he has velco pads on them so he can remove them if he gets caught out in the dark, looks ok on his bike,

Re: Headlight covers
if done well they can look cool, i saw a zx10 last summer, black wth black covers, made it look like a full race bike when he was riding it.
go for it if you like them. scott |
Re: Headlight covers
i had some for mine and gave them away as they were crap. Mine were black tint and I IMHO they just make you LESS visible.
