The most interesting/random/funny thing which happened to you this week.
 

Cos Im a little bored and in an attempt to burn some time on what feels like the longest Friday afternoon in history I thought it'd be a good idea to pass some time reading some of your little life stories.

Basically reply with a brief statement about anything from the good the bad or the ugly in your lives, which has taken place this last week. I dont care how irrelvent it may seem or how significant it is just give everyone something to read :D my example is below; Enjoy.


Had a very lucky escape with my mobile phone yesterday, I used it in the IT labs at Leeds Met during a lecture to reply to a message about football last night. Anyway I placed it next to the PC used it and on leaving, left it there for the next person (how nice of me). Anyway nearly 3hours later I went to call the same person I'd text wondering why he hadnt replied, UH-HO! phone not in pocket a few moments of :scratch: where the feck is it.
Then :smt021 it hit me, I'd left it next to the machine I thought NO CHANCE! it'll be long gone. Anyway shot off back to the labs on a strand of hope. People were using all of the machines so I thought :(. The young lady using the same machine I was looked innocent enough so I thought I should at least ask her. Walked over to her and found out and my phone... still there on the side. COULD NOT BELIVE MY LUCK.

Sadly thats been the most significant part of my week anyway - Now your turn.

An ex housemate was being chidlish about my stuff (long story) and decided to dump my remaining stuff outside my new backdoor. Obviously the thinking was it was going to destroy it (rain) little did he know it was going to the tip neway apart from the xbox remote.

I get home and someone had stolen the fridge and PC monitor from my backdoor but left the bike locks (and keys) plus the xbox remote alone (it still works).

Laffed my **** off as he'd ended up doing me a favour lol.

Took a craving for those rice krispy marshmallow things, which is wierd because they're one of the most disgusting things know to mankind.

Now I hate them again, and the idea of eating one makes me wanna puke.:smt085

My inner monologue getting into the lift this lunch time to go out and get some food.

OK Leather jacket on, Hat on, walk into lift *check self in mirror - yep looking pretty bad ass biker froody*

Ooo there's a pretty lady in the lift smiling at me, result!
Ok leather gloves going on, be smooth....hmm..having trouble try style it out, work the fingers on one at a time...oh...there's the problem it's on the wrong hand...OK can I style this out...no....ok maybe it's not too late maybe she hasn't seen..yes...she's laughing...ok damn ABORT ABORT FLEEEEEEEEEE!!!! AND PRAY SHE DIDN'T GET A GOOD LOOK AT YOUR FACE!!!

ummm

i dunno, nothing much funny has happened this week. My best mate jason usually makes some sort of funny, chemistry-related ****-up (like the time he thought he had a 99% yield from a reaction, with really beautiful crystals.....that turned out to be one of his starting materials) but even he hasn't delivered.

We found a guys reaction had started giving off some sort of gas this morning when the ballon containing nitrogen gas expanded and then went bang...

...he hasnt been in today

prolly seen heard about it in the press but I walked out of a pizza restaurant in fulham and shouted taxi exactly at the same moment as one was driving past.. easily my moment of february 2010...

erm what else... nearly ran a tourist over in the van outside madamme tussauds. Lights went green and he started to saunter across with his mates laughing at him from the pavement... he soon got a shuffle on when a big white renault master (2.5td baby) took off quicker than anticipated.

What else, tried flirting with a girl in tesco's - the self service checkouts always have a supervisor watching them... I tried to tell her that I like the self service ones because it's like playing supermarket-sweep but a bit less gay... She looked like she was gonna call security lol, mind you it was 3:15 in the morning

hmmm this has been an interesting week:

monday: gets out of bath, dries self off, pick up clothes lying on floor, as i turn off my ipod cos ive been listening to music, i nicely drop it in the bath! doh, but its ok, still working fine.

tuesday: went out for drinks with a girl, it went really well. only downside is she has a boyfriend!

wednesday: woken up at 6:30am with a call from australia for a second telephone interview regarding a job in australia! went pretty well i think, some serious decision making may have to be done in the near future!

friday: who knows what fun and games i'll get up to this weekend! i'll update on monday! oh and going drinking in the pub where girl from tuesday night works. should make for a few awkward moments, dunno if her friends at work know!
