What's cheap in the States and worth buying?
I'm probably off to the States with work, I'll be there for 4 nights so should get a brief chance to hit a mall or similar.
So what's cheap out there and worth looking at? I'm not bothered about I-phone/I-pod, but is there anything else? I could even try and visit a bike shop if boots/gloves are worth a gander, but comparing the style of riding I do to the kind of stuff they do in Louisiana I doubt that'll be likely. If nothing I'll just gorge myself on blooming onions, mmmmmmm.... |

Coke unless you like pepsi casue soda; soft drinks out there have more sugar in.
I used to buy clothes out there, however I havent been to the US for a while so not sure whats cheap ect...Also the exhange rate to pound is quite low at the moment as well. |

Timbaland, rockport shoes.
All sports stuff like nike etc, i got a cracking nike hoodie from a nike store for $16 (and no im not a chav) Most clothes are cheaper. Dont buy electronics from tourist areas, there are no cheaper, especially cameras, ipods etc, if fact in Florida, i couldnt find anything like that even remotely as cheap as the UK, everything was more money. Re: What's cheap in the States and worth buying?
Anything made in the states will be cheaper to buy due to the lack of import and handling on them.
My nailguns were half the UK price. |

I paid the VAT and import on them, an extra £70, big deal. It made the last pair 375 quid :D |
