Gpz500s
1992, 28k, tax and test till next jan or feb.
Not the quickest, scruffy. Done about 700 miles on this oil + filter, valves been checked, carbs been balanced. Tyres got plenty tread. Good on fuel. got some pattern stainless downpipes on it so will not rot like the stock ones. Stripped and cleaned brakes fairly recently Been good and reliable for me after small early problem, left it outside for a week in snow and ice while MYC and I looked after dizzyblondes house, started every morning fine for 40 mile round trip to uni. Also rode it to Newcastle and back other week, no issues. Did drop it a bit (5mph on ice), crack in front fairing at side and snapped end off brake lever, has been welded back together and painted. Edit: Chain and sprocket brand new tsubaki and JT set, done just 700 mile £400 |

Re: Gpz500s
Oh yeah rear mudguard has small crack as does numberplate.
I will see if there is any interest on here then stick it on eBay |
Re: Gpz500s
Has it been washed regularly and kept free of salt? ;)
|
Re: Gpz500s
Actually fairly free of salt, local council did not feel the need to use much, hence the cracked plastics!

Re: Gpz500s
Fine, put this up for sale just after I've bought a cheap Hornet.
