Gladius exhaust fits curvy?
I'm toying with the idea of fitting a Gladius exhaust to my curvy just for the sake of its looks. I like the idea of having a clean back with no exhaust. Yeah, I'm not adding the ugly rear Gladius endcan just the under-engine box. So has anybody tried this? Think it'll fit? It's basically the same engine I think. Maybe there are some Gladius owners out there that can make comparisons with their mates SV to check this out for me? I'd appreciate any help guys!

Re: Gladius exhaust fits curvy?
I don't actually know or not whether this will fit, but you do know there is a catalyst lurking in there!?
You might notice a drop in performance. |

Re: Gladius exhaust fits curvy?
All I'm interested in is to find the cheapest way to have a bellypan exhaust and thought to use the gladius item to do the job. There are plenty of people junking their system and replacing with a full race system so supply shouldn't be a problem. If there is a simpler cheaper way I'm all ears.
What have yo done exactly Kwak? I can't understand from only one picture but it looks like you've gone back to the conventional pipes and end-pipe route. Yorkie, you're right. It looks damn heavy. Maybe I should find a good welder and make my own? Then again maybe it would be cheaper to use part of it and replace the heavy looking can? |

He has an aftermarket mid pipe to replace the catalyst and first silencer.

Re: Gladius exhaust fits curvy?
Not an SV but this guy made up one for a Hawk/Bros. Not sure if you could work a rear header like that though!

Re: Gladius exhaust fits curvy?
Thanks Taipan for this. This is exactly what I'm looking for. It's a pointy but there's no reason the same method shouldn't apply to a curvy. Any more ideas?
