Curvy starting problems
When I start my bike in the morning from cold it runs fine for 3 or 4 seconds and then cuts out. If I rise the revs as i start it and hold them up for 10 seconds it runs fine. The bike has new plugs and is restricted.
Whats the cause of this? |

:) But It used to start with no choke, all the time? |
Re: Curvy starting problems
You could try balance the carbs, sometimes that affects cold starting like that.
but the problem you describe is so common as to be virtually a characteristic of most bike engine... they start, then the speed reduces, then they cough and stop. Pop the choke on for 5 seconds and they run fine. |
Re: Curvy starting problems

Mine does that with choke. Always starts and pops and dies, then sorts itself out and runs okay? But its always a couple of attempts to reach that stage. Never been happy about it doing that either. |
