can anyone answer a question for me
 

This is no big deal, I'm just interested to know the answer to the following: Why is it that when I make a post, a) my profile picture is never displayed, and, b) the number of posts I'v made seems to be perminantly stuck on 7.
Answers in simple english and please remember you are dealing with an idiot;)

Have you actually uploaded an avatar or just a profile picture?
Avatar comes up when you post, profile picture... is well.. on you're profile?
