Was temped to do this last year but one of the reason was that fact it was at donington

donington is a great track more technically than most people think. I'm not sure whether I'll be doing it this year its a long way to travel but hey we're getting used to this

Nooooooo, don't don't make me do it.....

I'd love to but I need to build my confidence a wee bit more before I try this.

Has anyone had experience of this then? More so with the Premier?

Seems like alot of money for only half day!

I've been toying with this for a while, and I've read reviews of this elsewhere.

The general consensus is that the half day is very fun, allbeit very expensive, although the premier one seems to be somewhat aimed at trackday virgins. Another thing which people were talking about, was that you spend half the time just becoming accustomed to the 600rr, which limits the actual enjoyment/learning time.

I did this and was very disappointed. I don't know if it was just a useless instructor I had, or whether it is aimed solely at riding novices, but I gained nothing from the day, apart from a short and slow experience of track riding. I regard a trackday as a much better and worthwhile investment. I ride quicker on the road than they would let me go on track, it was a complete joke!

I enjoyed it but I found the instructors were quite limiting if you're quick already, CB900's do not handle as well as the CBR600RR and it shows. My instructor was seriously grinding out, a bit off putting and not allowed to overtake. ;)

At least I found I am faster than one of Liam Haslam's GSX-R750 riding friends. ;)
