Ahhhh bugger...

I had a nice conversation with a policeman last night. He gave me 3 nice shiney points in exchange for £60 :smt066

Bugger!

Any one from Tyne & Wear area, watch out around the Whitemare Pool roundabout :plod:

Karma...

I think Karma is bull****! I always try and do nice things for people, infact I often go out of my way to do favours for people.

Why is it that nothing nice ever happens to me.

Rant over :)

I got done for an average of 71.3mph

The road is a 70 with a temperary 50 due to road works. I had started to slow down to 50 though, just not quick enough.

What annoyed me is the fact I was overtaken by 2 other cars in the outside lane, but it was me that was pulled over.

My fault, just a bit bitter about it.

Ah tought beat. I know how you must feel. A lot of people never really stick to the temporary 50's in road work areas. Even worse when you get overtaken be people and you're the one who gets singled out. Just tough luck!

I'm on 3 points at the moment, and I think I got flashed by a camera the other day, so I'm waiting nervously. Not bout having 6 points, that's just 2 lifelines away. How many points you on now?

check to see if they have actually applied for an official temporary restriction, if no actual legal restriction is in place you may be off the hook.

Really??? Any idea how I would go around finding out?

Normally I would take it on the chin, I just feel a bit hard done by this time.

ooooh... no i can ask though may take a day or so, was chatting with my uncle who is a policeman and we discussed it, I imagine its with your local Highways authority within the council which you could probably request it under the FOIA.
