Did anyone watch the program on tourettes the other night?
I feel evil but it's bloody hilarious, very sad too.
Worth watching if you have a spare hour http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode..._Cant_Help_It/ .
I didn't realise you could develop it later on in life, feeling pretty susceptible to it to be honest!

it was pretty harsh esp for the little kid, but i couldnt help lauging at some bits.

some of the stuff the bloke was coming out with

"im a rapist", "i've got gay porno at home" i was in stiches.

Must be a bad way to live.

thought his dog was pretty impressive as well, how it knew when it was him and when it was his tick.

Yeah I was impressed with the dog, ****ing unfortunate that one of his ticks is motioning and telling it to run out when the road's not clear. The scary thing about tourettes is it's stuff almost everyone's thought (I hope!) at one point or another "what's the worst thing I could say or do now?" but most of the time we keep it in.

I've got to admit to laughing a good way through it - but'd like to think it was with them! "like other gay men" made me laugh as well... just following the sweet comments one bloke was saying about the other trying to find a girlfriend.

As kids, especially the older bloke John I felt proper sorry for them - not nice at all.

There's a guy in work who has it, sometimes when you talk to him he looks at you and blinks really hard and quickly like he's got dust in his eyes - it's him trying to focus with his tourettes, I'm told. His son has it too I think, he sits there making little human beatbox type noises to himself.
