Upgrade Front Fork Springs?
Hey!
When I was with Spannerman (whom did a wonderful job btw) he recommended to get some nice new front springs. Are they worth it? Plus who else has them? |
Re: Upgrade Front Fork Springs?
Are you having issues with the way the bike rides/handles... ?
Cheers Ben |
Re: Upgrade Front Fork Springs?
I've got Hagon progressives & they tighten the front end up no end

Re: Upgrade Front Fork Springs?
What would be the correct weight spring (ohlins) and correct fork oil to use for a 16 stone rider (fully kitted out)?
Also whats a some good fork oils to use? |
Re: Upgrade Front Fork Springs?
I think I will get Spannerman to fit some nice new springs then when I get some new tyres at sametime. :-)

try this link http://www.racetech.com/page.aspx?id=53&menuid=61 i know theyre racetech not ohlins, but on this site you can calculate the spring weight needed for you, just as an idea like :) just click on "see what race tech has for your bike" (right hand side above the first pic) choose your bike and fill in accordingly hope this helps |

Rate is what you need to worry about, not what sticker you going to put on fork. |
