I once had a 'sorry you have not been successful' response to a job application I sent about four years previously!

Mine wasnt that long, but I got a phone call asking me to come to an interview about 6 months after Id applied for the job!

Yeah, I've had that too. I'm not complaining about that, as in that case I got the job I'm currently sitting in!
