Snobby shops

Anne told me something this evening that has made me really hopping mad.

When I was out playing Sunday, she took Sophie shopping and they went to the perfume counter in House of Fraser cos S wanted some Avril Lavigne perfume. Remember that she's 11!!! So S asked for her chosen posion and snobby cow behind the counter said that they 'didn't sell mass market brands, try Superdrug or TK Maxx'. S was upset, not cos they didn't have it, but at the woman's attitude and rudeness and said 'mum, that lady was very rude'.

Well done House of Fraser you have just gone on my 'avoid' list.

I got turned away from Harrods in the 90s as venture scout with my uniform on so did the rest of my party, I don't tend to go in there now unless for work purposes...

What is it with Harrods and Scouts/Guide uniforms? This isn't the first time I've heard of them refusing entry to lads/lasses wearing them.

My girls would probably reply with "You should try it, you smell like you need it" or something similar as a bitchy way of response.

I got asked if I actually spoke English after a ride attendant at Butlins failed to understand what I was saying as she wouldn't walk away from the diesel generator she was sat next to.

"What?!? Can't hear ya!!! Do you even speak English?!?"

I was 8 :(

complain, i can tell you that the HOF take customer complaints very seriously, as 'treat every customer as someone special no mater what their background as they pay your wages'.

I would get Anne to pop in today and say 'wow you chose the wrong person to be rude to, wonder how my 'mystery shopper' form is going to look when I submit it'.

New underwear to the House of Fraser perfume counter please!!!
