Southend Shakedown - where to meet
 

Alo. I came by to meet some of the Soho massive a few Fridays ago and some people mentioned the ride to Southend coming up. Can anyone tell me where London people will be meeting and what time to ride down on Monday? I've looked through some of the threads but it doesnt seem evident.

ta, yes i saw that link. but what i meant was where are soho massive meeting in london before riding down? I coul d ride down there myself but it'd be less fun

Oops, sorry.

I don't think we're organised enough to have a meeting point. Though I'm sure there will be a few folks going from somewhere near you.

I believe we just usually meet up at the ace and amble about looking for each other.

But there'll be hundreds there because the whole Shakedown run starts from there!

Thanks, I thought maybe I was being a bit thick or something. Please let me know if ppl are meeting n what time if you are happy for me to join, I will be arriving on my own. Can get to the Ace easily enough. I live in Lewisham if anyone is going from that way. Fancied joining some others for a ride.

what we did last year was.....
stand around in the cafe, watching the hords leave.......
leaving only .org members and a few other riders.
had another cup of tea then left in a group....
