Hagon Shock (guinea pig)
Pop'd my bike in to Hagon on Saturday, what a nice bunch - very frendly they asked a few questions on how i like the current (GSXr) shock and the will try to match the one they make for my bike the same lenth (the have my OEM shock for the measurement of the standard shock they will make) Will update this thread when I get my bike back (later this week I hope) Thanks again to yorkie_chris for the heads up.

First impressions are wow - I know I'm new to biking but I can feel such a difference with the Hagon shock, I did about 70 miles on it on saturday without any adjustments and it felt so good. No squating under accelaration. Low speed bumps smoothed out. Feels so much more planted. I think I need to stiffen the preload a bit and then maybe have a play with the damping but I'm so happy ;D FYI - Hagon said that the GSXR shock is sprung about 10 KG heavier than the stock shock, I have my Hagon shock sprung to 90 KG. |
Re: Hagon Shock (guinea pig)
Yep, I replaced my OEM shock with a Hagon. Much better, and I haven't even touched the adjustment!
No more pogoing out of the seat! |
Re: Hagon Shock (guinea pig)
Mine too, just a little adjustment for my weight, and away I went...mind you the stock shock had got ever so slightly rusty!
Enjoy, must be good being a guinea pig, and it works first time :-) |
Re: Hagon Shock (guinea pig)
Good morning all.
Good show! They are a good bunch at Hagons, & it's good to hear that you notice the difference. All we need now is for them to make some fork springs for you. Keep us all posted on how you get on with it. Cheers. |
