Pointy forks on a curvy?

Will they fit? Are they the same diameters, will my curvy wheel fit?

Ive seen a pair on fleabay, seems a reasonable price atm so its tempting, but I need to know what differences there are please

The mud guard mounts are different & the mud guard obviously.
The calipers are the same do you'll be fine using the ones you've got.
Wheels & discs etc are the same but you'll have to ask someone esle about the yolks and spindle.
I assume they're the same but you never know.

Thanks, it needs a new mudguard anyway so thats not the end of the world

But takes the same wheel bearings? I was thinking it looks like they replaced the sleeve found on the curvy for a different end, but hoped that with same wheel bearings a pointy spindle through the pointy forks should still fit the curvy wheel and brakes etc

I reckon pointy forks, spindle and mudguard and we should be good to go?

Na, if the spindle is a differnt size you'll need new bearings.
But you've now got me thinking about the discs on both bikes, Im not sure they're the same.
Im 100% on the mud guard and that the calipers are the same but the rest of it Im now not so sure of.

ohhh the seed of doubt has been planted!

Soooo,

it looks like pointy forks will fit into curvy yokes and then use a pointy spindle with pointy spacers to attach curvy wheel, calipers and discs.

I'm assuming that the spacers needed are the liters, and the internal bearing spacer will stay as the curvy one?

Wheel, discs, spindle and spacers are different, the whole lot can be used in the other yokes.
