Muc Off Leather wipes - Beware!
Got some Muc Off leather wipes in my xmas stocking, thought I'd give them a go to try and get some of the flies of my jacket and look what happened!!!
Before http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/m...y/IMAG0081.jpg After http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/m...y/IMAG0080.jpg Has only affected the red part of the jacket, must have reacted badly with the red dye. The packet has a disclaimer on there saying they should be tried on a small bit you cant see but you can see all of the red bits as they are on the front!! I will give Muc Off a call but I can't see what they would do. |
Re: Muc Off Leather wipes - Beware!!
Ouch, hope you get it sorted I havent cleaned my leathers yet (too new), but Im not looking forward to it, saying that they gave me cleaner which says it can only be used on Dainese leathers, so if anything happens I'll take them back to the dealer..

Re: Muc Off Leather wipes - Beware!!
ouch! i use renapour cleaner and restourer but amnot a massive fan because it makes my matt leathers shiny (as does everything) however i find that your wilko or simoniz leather whipes work well and evapourate off after a day so leave everything clean.

Re: Muc Off Leather wipes - Beware!!
you clean leathers ? i personally have a serious case of CBA when it comes to cleaning leathers

Re: Muc Off Leather wipes - Beware!!
It's cheaper to clean them than to replace them because they've cracked or split through neglect. And seeing as I like my leathers and can't afford to keep replacing stuff like that I'd rather spend a bit of time keeping them in good condition.
