Iterview tomorrow/today

for a place out of 60 on a motor sport mechanics course at Silverstone :D

this course is for a year then you get put on an apprenticeship for 2 years with a race team like one of the Ginetta cup teams

out of over 400 applicants they have received 150 people will be interviewed and im one of the 150 :D bit scared to be honest i dont like interview's and the fact there is only 60 places is a bit daunting

:)

Aww Good Luck ! :)

I hate interviews too. Been trying to get a job for months although I seem to be getting more relaxed with interviews now. Still s^%t myself tho.lol.
Though they say nerves are healthy.

EDIT ^ thanks :D

and to metal head

ye i wanted to do it before the cr&p IT course im doing now but was to late

i have already got a place on one but its a bit to theory based for my liking (dyslexic so i dont like writing) and its a bit to main stream as well

applied for 3 places so far 1 successfully the other wasn't (Rolls Royce) and then this interview tomorrow (today if you like)

they are all car based but plan to get out into a bike team after if i can

Yeh can imagine, practical is always more fun than theory. ;)
Mate of mine is doing a mechanics course of some kind atm, currently on work experience, but they are in the process of building from scratch a gixer 400 (i think)

good luck, get the suit on and polish the shoes. always good too make a good first impression!

the best thing you can do with an interview is relax. you've done the hard part, they've shortlisted you from hundreds already. go in, be yourself, show them your enthusiastic for cars/bikes and really want to learn and work in the motorsport industry! you'll do good!

ps, if you get the gig, can i put my name down for some moto gp/f1 pitlane passes for a few years down the line?!?!?
