London to Brighton

I think the London to Brighton run just went past my office and as we had about a half hour of bikes roaring down the road.

At first a number of us got up to watch and were quite impressed...a half hour later I'm fuming at the way a lot of this pack acted...

I large number not wearing helmets, ok whatever, your choice.. but the pack just kept rolling right across red lights blocking a main road through london for a half hour deliberatly blocking and intimidating drivers trying to get out...starting to get annoyed..

One F**** ass even swerved at a pedestrian that tried to cross a green ped crossing to force him back onto the pavement and I am F***ing raging...
I wish I had got this on film but my phone is dead but the actions of some of these ****s goes beyond ANYTHING I thing is acceptable...
I actually had to walk away when a group surrounded and herded a car off the road and blocked him off as I was close to opening the windows and hurling things at them....

I'm sure a lot of people on this run are nice people but I swear to god I don't think I'll EVER want to be joining this run and be associated with these C**ts..., no wonder a lot of people hate bikers

Am I being too sensetive or something? or is this normal!?

Motorbikes and a lot of them! (multiple 100's)
Not sure what the even is but one guy here thinks it's a london to Brighton run, if anyone knows what it was I'd love to know.
I've blown off some steam now, didn't even have to punch a kitten! so it's all good.

I hope it's not the no to bike parking lot as they are destroying any valid message we may have with their behaviour!

We first heard a loud roar as a cloud of Hells angels go past, followed by a rag tag mix of big tourers, choppers and sports bikes.

They started to block off side roads as they went down which like I say I can kind of understand...

As this went on..and on..and on...there started to be gaps in the bike procession and a few cars on green lights tried to move out, they got cut up, kicked at and herded off the road.
One taxi that must have made it onto the road at a junction further up (we are just before london bridge) was basically forced off the road onto our side road.

What sealed it for me was when during on of these big gaps (it seems a couple of coaches had forced their way onto the road further up and had created a good minute long gap) a pedestrian tried to cross a green pedestrian crossing and one of the road blockers roared off to intercept him and ran him down forcing him back onto the pavement...there is NOTHING to describe how furious I am at this lot, whoevever or whatever they are!

Even one of the contractors in today to test the fire system is a biker and was disgusted so It's not just me!
Problem is it's us regular commuters who are going to have to deal with the fall out as bikes get treated with even more disdain than usual for the forseable future!

Lmao well ok I have no problem with people driving defensively or even slightly aggresivly if the situation calls for it and "making progress".

I take exception to unreasonbly obstructing other people (sitting at a junction to allow a pack to pass fine, continuing to block the junction when there are no bikes at that time and then attacking other road users who have the gall to try and go about their business and filter out or driving them off the road, then deliberatly running down pedestrians, that's beyond crossing the line, that's so far off over the line I honestly hope they crash and die...

What are you talking about?

It's got nothing to do with the No To Bike Parking Fees campaign.

It sounds like you saw the memorial ride by the Hells Angels for one of their recently deceased members. "Charger's" funeral was today and it was held at Streatham Park Cemetary.
