Hi All

After just noticing I have a screw in my back tyre , hopefully ok as have removed and not loosing pressure ( only in 5mm )

thinking of treating myself to a get me home repait kit

It is loosing pressure slowly , gonna put some ultra seal in , have used before on other bikes and has worked well , it does up set front wheel balance a tad but worth it to stop pain in the **** punctures , bikes main use is commuter

Cheers Steveg

Hi Steve, I bought one of these kits last year. Nice and easy to carry around and very effective, so I'm told. I was hoping that somebody would have had some experience of them on her, but it appears not.

the Cargol system is quite good, not as versatile as the sticky string stuff though, but more importantly you don't really need tools, so a good deal smaller, as the Superduke has naff all underseat storage I've got this for that bike, my others all have the string type, bit expensive in comparison but better than being stranded or awaiting recovery.

Cheers Mark.

You can get similar kits which include a little CO2 can and filling tube to reinflate it after you fix it too.

crafty plugger looks better than that feckin nightmare I had with the CO2 can. The plugs are finer for starters instead of trying to insert something resembling the thickness of a finger!
