Do I have preload adjusters?

Browsing through my new Haynes manual today, I noticed that the forks on the SV650S 99 - 02 are different to the ones I have on my '01. To my untrained eye they look like oversized preload adjusters, am I right?

Sorry they are a little hard to see, it was rather sunny today. I'll try and get some better pictures tonight.

Thanks ya'll!

Yes, they have been retro fitted, great for setting your sag. but once adjusted correctly. Most people then never touch them. so great if you have them. But your not missing much if you haven't.
