SV650S not starting.
 
Please can you help I have an SV650 52plate but i have no sound on trying to start the bike. I have replaced the starter solenoid and still nothing. The lights come on ok and the bike turns over if shorting out the solenoid with a screwdriver across the terminals. Any ideas?

Youve done the obvious,
Kill switch, side stand switch etc
Getting a spark ?

Erm not sure what you mean sorry :( I tried it with the side stand up? is that what oyu mean? and still nothing...

I have cleaned up the clutch switch, but not sure about the kill switch...would it still turn over when shorted out?

You have checked the kill switch on the lh side havent you?
Its easily done, forgetting that.
