no can do I'm afraid. Bike is still unrideable, 4 pot calipers arrived yesterday, hel lines & brembo mc should arrive before 1pm today, gotta take all the tail off the bike so I can fit the nearside pillion footpeg, then trial pack all my camping gear & panniers for isle of man this weekend, then 2000 words on investment appraisal to hand in on friday morning..

And the lady is expecting alot of my time with being away for the weekend! ARGH!

did a shed load of reading on the gixer junkies forums - general consensus seems to be that the 4 pots and 6 pots are equally as effective so long as the 6 pots are overhauled regularly.. The 4 pots require far less maintenance and some say that the pads wear more evenly...

Found some 4 pots on ebay for £40 so gonna sell the 6 pots to recoup the cost after all the faffing I don't fancy doing it again..

Only problem now is that the banjo bolts from the 6 pots have a different thread from ones which fit the 4 pots, so I need to find 2 of them as well..

It's almost like someone is trying to stop me from getting to the isle of man

I might be there, I might not be. See what the weather does.

Take the R6 our for another blast if the rain holds off. Rode the SV today into work and it felt like an armchair and I was sitting bolt upright!
