Adjusting clutch lever cable - help please

Just switched the brake and cluth levers for black ones. Not sure how i should adjust the lock nut and the other bit you turn. Bike lurches violently into gear from neutral and was not like it before i disconnetced the clutch cable from the lever.

Anyone shed light on this please as to how to adjust so that when going fron N to 1st it is a bit smoother? Popping out in the car but will be back soon....

TC3 there are a load of discussions on here about how to do that - do a quick search and that shoud sort you out.
