Question about bar ends
I'm after a new set of bar ends on my curvy as mine are a bit old and corroded.
I've heard people talking about various aftermarket ones being too light and as a result the vibration through the bars being hellish. Can anyone recommend any aftermarket ones which are good quality and not too light to serve their purpose properly? I like the look of the R&G racing ones but not sure what they are like in practice. Cheers. Toby |

Re: Question about bar ends
Thanks mate.
Are those ones tapered or a consisten width? Personally not a massive fan of the tapered ones |
Re: Question about bar ends
the factory ones a bit pricey new (£19 a pop) but find out the wieght of them and find a set of similar mass after markets

Re: Question about bar ends
you can find stainless bar ends on ebay occasionally.
I was lucky enough to get a hefty pair off ToonYank before he parted from the org. He made quite a few sets for many of us. I got another set for the other SV from another member(no idea where he acquired them) which are slightly longer. Either way, hefty and seemingly stop a lot of vibrations, to me at least. |
Re: Question about bar ends
Probably a dumb question - but how do you find out the weight of your bar ends?? Mine are looking a bit worn so want to replace them.
