Are all bike exhausts expensive?
iv only had my license 5 weeks and i got my sv650 about 4 weeks ago now, just been looking at some smaller noisier exhausts on ebay as the standard one is huge and i never new they were so expensive just for a back box, i work on cars so im used to seeing 40-50 pound mahussive backboxes on little 1.2s lol, i realise you have to spend good money to get good quality but are all exhaust systems over 180 squid?

Re: sooo expensive
Full systems yeah. I paid £200 for the M4 system second hand, though before that I got a micron one silly cheap.
You can get a can alone for £100 or less though. |
Re: sooo expensive
£100 would set you up with a half decent can and link pipe.

Re: sooo expensive
realy does it sound ok? the biggest fear iv got is you have to cut the standard pipe to fit new can and if i fit it then dont like it im buggered lol

Re: sooo expensive
Nope your not.
With the link pipe i can put on load exhaust or the standard for MOT's....5min job with a socket and spanner. |
Re: sooo expensive

|
Re: sooo expensive
Twin exhausts are a cosmetic thing only, just heavier and more to damage than single.
