crashed bikes / breakers?
 
anyone recommend some bike breakers yards or of someone selling crashed bikes in the south?

or old beaten up bikes

anywhere in the south

Closest I know of is the Bike Hut in Iron Acton (Bristol) but I'm not sure if they will have what you want...

There's 2 i know of down here but one only does mopeds / low capacity and the other is to expensive

Silverlakes do them - quite often see some mingers outside their place in Bevois Valley

There is a car breakers near Gloucester called Twigworth breakers, they usually have approx 200+ bikes at any one time. Plus in terms of parts they literally have hundreds of different forks, engines, boxes of mirrors etc. They have a whole section of the warehouse just piled with bike parts.

Probably too far for you though. Its the kind of place where if you call them they won't have a clue, you would need to go and rummage through their stock.
