ok folks, need some miles :)
 

Ok folks i really want to clock up some miles starting next week. (im hoping for the parts to turn up by this weekend)

However i dont have any free weekends (appart from the 19th of june) soo i could do with some runs that are about an hour or so (no more than 1:45mins) that i can do from work/home. I live in brighouse and work in huddersfield town centre.


So any ideas? i need to be back home for 8ish really finish work about 545 ish.

brig, elland, greetland, down to Ripponden, turn left, carry on up to Saddleworth, turn left at Denshaw onto A640, goes over Outlane and into Hudds.

i need to clock up some miles too so if your ever in the mood for a ride out just give me a shout im over in the liversedge and there is some nice roads over towards the moors but havent ventured that far myself

Andy, if you ever fancy getting away and the weather is nice.....house always open for ya.....drag Paul down and we can head off into Sunny Wales to some nice scenery.

Easily give you a 500 miles weekend.

Seriously, if the link works its a perfect detour.
Plenty of twisty roads, and open stretches to play with over Denshaw to Hudds. It used to be one of Paul 6ths little rides, Smudge, me, Peg, Carnivore, YC all do it regular.....just watch out for the sheep up from Denshaw before you get to Nont Sarahs ;-)

ooo even the little man thingy works, you can get a good view on streetview!

yea thanks dizz thats just what im after. could do with a couple more like that tho. i used to go up and over scammonden and back through lesbania then sowerby bridge and home but need the variations. :)

going from denshaw side there are a couple of cracking S bends with some ripples in just the right places to make sure your suspension works :)
