Hellooo

Hello! Monty here - I'm new, so thought I'd introduce myself.

I'm a student in Cambridge so spend a bit more than half the year here and the smaller half down in London. I'm new to biking but it's been something I've wanted to do for aaaages - and I finally bit the bullet and passed my test last summer .

Unfortunately since then life has just been too busy (and funds too tight:rolleyes:) for me to actually do anything with the little motorcycle symbol I've got on the back of my licence other than stare at it and dream. This summer I'm hoping to turn that into something a little more tangible and an SV650 sounds like a brilliant way to begin.

If any of you are in/around Cambridge I have a bit of a favour to ask:help: - I'm looking to buy a bike some time after my exams are over next thursday and so far all I've had time to do is nip up to see BigBadDad's black curvy. As beautiful as it was he recommended checking out other bikes before buying so I've got something to compare it to and a little more understanding of its good bits and bad bits. SO, if anybody's around with a curvy and would be free for a chat (and a chance to show off your bike) it would be very much appreciated :D.

Hope all's well with everyone in EAR, maybe I'll be joining you on a rideout soon ;)

Monty

Ignore Seggons, curvys are great! Got mine last July when i did my test and done 8000 fab miles on it. My boyfriend also has one and hes ridden various bikes over the last 20 years.
Im based nr peterborough but would be happy to arrange a meet if you want to talk curves!! I dont confess to knowing much but am happy to share what ive learnt about the bike xx

Thanks for the offers, kellyjo that's 8k more than me ;) I'm afraid I'm really trying (ha, not sure it's working!) to focus on these exams at the moment, so how does next weekend sound to anyone? I'm always up for a pint or a cuppa. Sean I wouldn't really be looking for expert advice, I'd just like a peek at a bike or two so I've got something to compare BBD's to.
