Santa Pod Weekend
 

Hi All.

Just got back from 2 days at Santa Pod. Seemed like more bikes than ever were running. A few even manged 6.7 second runs at 200+mph, one even managed 225mph!

The highlight of the weekend was 2 top fuel dragsters hitting 319mph. One of them set a new European speed record by backing it up with a second run at 314mph.

Problem is I can't hear a thing now! :smt081

I to Went down to pod this weekend just gone, A great weekend apart from the rain on sat :( but at least they did an oustanding job of keeping the track clean and dry :).
Yeah the top fuel's certainly hit you in the chest as they go past "There ain't no substitute for cubes" lol

Hopefully meet you down there one day, We go to the jap show also.

I live about 8 miles away from the Pod and haven't been there for about 20 years.
