Need help with: Fork Seals, Restrict to 33bhp, and Dyno running the bike

Hello all,
I passed my full bike test in May and bought my first 'big bike' yesterday; a beautiful blue SV650 S 2000 model only to find that although I got a good deal on the bike, it wasnt as much of a steal as I'd hoped. I'm probably going to have to spend a good 200 pounds sorting out its suspension and restricting the thing (even if its just for the dyno reading) but I know it will be worth it.
I would be really grateful if anyone could help me with locating a reasonably priced dyno to use in essex, or if anyone has resticted an sv before.

Does anyone know anywhere you can get forkseals replaced for a good price? I am getting desperate now, as I want to ride this thing!:-({|=

Thanks in advance http://www.essexbikers.co.uk/forum/i...smiley-018.gif

I used Wemoto for my fork seals, I can't recall how much but they were well priced.

Hi,

I just restricted my sons 1999 sv650. I got the restrictor kit of ebay for £20 and paid £23.50 for a dyno run (Seastar Superbikes Norwich)
Readings came out at 21.6 & 22.6 for the two runs.
F1 sell a restrictor kit for about £180 and then you have to pay a dealer to fit it. So I reckon I saved myself about £200 :p

Thank you very much - I will look into getting a dyno run there! We managed to fit the kit ourselves too. :D
