....as I took the missus out for an hour just now :D

She's expressed an interest in the bike, wants to do her CBT and potentially DAS but has never been on a bike until she met me. We've been meaning to get her a lid for aaages but finally made it down to hein gericke in York today and purchased a nice shiny HJC.

She was nervous and excited in equal measures but we rode about 4/5 miles before I stopped to see if she was ok - she had a big grin on her face :D we planned to come home after that but she asked "is there a longer way home?" = me and her down some backroads I've never ridden before... in the dark. I hate riding in the dark but I properly enjoyed it tonight :D

I really cannot wait for the GM now - just need to get some proper long distance rides and a camping rehearsal run at dalby forest done, then we'll be all set for the highlands at the end of the month.

BRING IT ON!!! Muahahaha :D

Sounds like you'd better book that CBT up for her then, just think, once she's passed her DAS and got her own bike you could have a two to choose from!

aye - should make a euro trip a bit more comfortable for the both of us as well - tent/sleeping bags/rollmats/towels on my bike.... all her clothes and makeup on her bike :D awesome
