Catalunya Moto GP

Hey guys. Heading to catalunya for the moto go, and I have received the schedule for the races like the FP, QP and race times for 125cc, Moto 2 and Moto GP, but I was just wondering if anyone knows urtherr are other races on at the track during the weekend?? Like at donington last year they had the little red bull 125cc c'ship, and some side car races, and v-twin races etc...

Cheers
Aaron

Probably be a couple of Spanish national championships supporting it would assume. Moto GP at Silverstone has the UK National Superstock 1000s so may have the Spanish equivalent or the 125 Red Bull Rookies thing as that is pretty big in Spain and seems a proving ground for the 125cc class

Yea I wa wondering about the Red Bull Rookies, I remember seeing them at Donington...

Just wondering as Donington had a lot on and I assumed Spain would have the same amount if not more, as they seem more into their bikes...

But in saying that, I won't mind if there isn't, as it gives me a chance to head into Barcelona and explore the city, and hit up some beaches for a couple of days :)

Was at Jerez last month and you got 4 races on the sunday. The only "extra" class is the Red Bull Rookies which was the last race of the day (think they also raced saturday after qualifying).
Moto 2 is the most entertaining by a mile!

Never seen any other interesting classes over there, like superduke/rc8 like at our GP's in recent years. The atmosphere (even in the nearest cities) over there though is electric compared to over here. Lap it up and enjoy.

Fair enough, sounds fine as that gives us plenty of time to go and explore Barcelona :)
Leave next sunday morning and I really cannot wait.
Here's hoping to good weather for the 2 weeks
