K7 Sport Onwards Hugger fitting
Just to settle why any huggers wont fit the K7 onwards Sport model its just been confirmed to me that the Sport model has a swingarm length of 589 as opposed to the standard models which have a swingarm length of 595.
Obviously the shorter swingarm makes the bike more responsive.:p |
Re: K7 Sport Onwards Hugger fitting
To add to this. Pyramid are currently designing one for the newer bike K7 onwards. It is likely to be a couple of months before we see it for sale though!

Cool. Its only the K7 onwards Sport that is different. The normal faired non sport model has the longer swingarm.

Thats interesting..........(watch people start buying the shorter swing-arms now!!)

Re: K7 Sport Onwards Hugger fitting
I bought a k8 almost a year ago with a new pyramid hugged that didn't fit and was supposidly designed for the pointy models. I had to drill new sets of mounting holes on the hugger to get it to fit! They are certainly taking their time to fix it!
