I bought the SV back in 2007 (25,400 miles) as cheap way to get back into biking after a break. It was only ever intended to be temporary, but I loved it so much that I just kept riding it!

Over winter 08/09 (26,700 miles) I stripped the bike back to its frame and engine and gave it lots of TLC - rebuilt the back end with a ZXR shock, rebuilt the forks with progressive springs, Motad can, chain & sprockets, a full engine service, some cosmetic mods and a good clean. The bike was fantastic through summer and I took it round Scotland in September last year, brilliant!

I'm selling this because I've bought an Aprilia Falco (another v-twin, but better suited for a tall bloke on longer distances) so sadly the SV must go. I MOT'd it today and it sailed through.
