Re: newby to website and racing
Welcome :)
Take off all heavy stuff. You need to keep the engine though. Don't crash. Stock fork springs are rubbish. Fit some stiffer ones unless you weigh about 6 stone. Stock fork damping is equally bad, fit cartridges, emulators or GSXR front end depending on your class rules. Stock shock is also crap, fit a penske, ohlins etc. Don't crash. Who are you racing with? |
Re: newby to website and racing
not sure at the minute but might be north gloucester
oh yeah dont fancy crashing |
Re: newby to website and racing
fit crash bobbins- r+g are the best for the pointy
lockwire the sump plug and other engine plugs Fit a collector bellypan €40 from ten kate unpainted Throttle change depending upon rules new exhaust to race spec (depending upon db limit) better disc and pads and braided lines The list is very long talk to the racing lads on here |
Re: newby to website and racing
I recommend giving your forks to Maxton and getting their cartridge kit for them.
Maxton rear shock is good too. If lockwiring oil fluid entry use an R clip. Lockwire handlebar grips Use a large jubilee clip on oil filter and Lockwire it Move the battery to the front Captive spacer on rear wheel _ changing rear on SV is a pain Get Wets on Wheels Tyre Warmers - I recommend Diamond as the customer service is second to none |

Welcome to the Org :smt039
As for racing then good luck ;) As for sorting the bike well what the other have said. Sort out the suspension as theres no point in modding the engine to feck and still running stock suspension. |
