weird question but.....
 

Hi,

I have a weird question\request I have an old iMac G5 had it about 3/4 yrs now and had to claim on my home insurance for it now they are being ****s about it, I also left my iphone in France so claiming for that as i have personal belongings but they are now asking for proof of ownership for the iMac and I remember shredding the receipt, does anyone have one they could email me a copy of?

I know it sounds dodgy but I promise it is not in the slightest bit.

do they accept anything other than the receipt i.e. packaging or otherwise?

I sent to the company they use to asses the damage in teh original packaging, they are just being awkward and wont pay out on my iphone untill this is settled.

Didi you buy it by card? If so what about a bank / credit card statement?

I once claimed for a video camera and they accepted a manual as proof.
