2001 Honda CBR 600 f F4i Restricted
2001 HONDA CBR 600 F (Fuel Injection) in Red
This was my first bike after passing my test and I'll be very sad to see it go (yes I actually cried while cleaning it) but I have a full time University course in Sheffield and the insurance is far too high up there than in my home country of Suffolk so the bike has to go. This is an end of an era for me so be nice Orgers! The good points: Very low mileage - 15175 miles Starts first time - never failed me I bought the bike at 11000 miles and it had missed its 8k service, so I had both the 8k and 12k service done so it has had new spark plugs, oil change, brake fluid etc Almost new front brake pads Brand new chain and sprocket Absolutely beautiful bike that is lovely to ride Full service history Very sturdy cash bungs The bad points: It was been dropped, so there are a few scuffs/scratches on the fairing and bar ends etc. I have tried to show the damage in the pictures, but the good thing is that 90% of the paint scratches are on the stickers on the fairing, so it would be very very easy to buy a new set of decals from ebay and replace them yourself, meaning the bike would be almost mint condition again. The bike is currently SORNed, so there is no tax, and the MOT runs out on July 20th. The bike will pass the MOT with flying colours, I've even had a brand new chain and sprocket fitted, but as it is SORNed, I cant physically take it to a new MOT centre myself. The SORN ends as soon as I send off the V5 to notify the DVLA of a new owner. Modifications: There is a sports exhaust on the bike, which came with it when I bought it It has a Tom Tom Rider Mount Cash bungs - they are attached to the frame, not through the fairing so you get far more protection than ordinary ones The bike is RESTRICTED, as I passed my test before I was 21. A rider who is competent at maintaining their bike will find it very easy to remove this. I have all the packaging and certificates for the restriction kit however, and as it cost me £200 to have it put in, you should be able re-sell the kit once its removed and make a profit. As I am completely selling up, you are perfectly welcome to have the cover, chains, spare oil, Haynes Manual, motorbike cleaner, corrosion protector and anything else I can find if you want it. I am also selling my cut down gel seat and the seat cowl, if you are interested If you have any questions or would like to come view the bike, please email me and I will do my best to answer them, or find a viewing time that is convenient for both of us. The bike is currently nr Ipswich, Suffolk £2,200, or make me a sensible offer http://i385.photobucket.com/albums/o...e/SAM_1623.jpg http://i385.photobucket.com/albums/o...e/SAM_1628.jpg http://i385.photobucket.com/albums/o...e/SAM_1625.jpg http://i385.photobucket.com/albums/o...e/SAM_1626.jpg http://i385.photobucket.com/albums/o...e/SAM_1624.jpg |
