Sv 650 naked mirrors
The mirrors on my sv are crap. Small round and vibrate wildly at speeds over 40mph so motorway they are pretty useless. Has anyone changed there mirror's to a better looking and more stable mirror?

Re: Sv 650 naked mirrors
I got bar end mirrors today and they are brilliant. Much better than standard fully faired mirrors. I can see loads more, rather than just my elbows. They don't vibrate.
Only downside is they are a bit low, so not quite in line of sight. |
Re: Sv 650 naked mirrors
Do they give as much rear view as the original mirrors? And how much were they? Thanks

Re: Sv 650 naked mirrors
Well I don't know about standard naked mirrors, never used them. But they are a lot better than faired mirrors. They were £30

Re: Sv 650 naked mirrors
Has anyone else got issues with the standard naked sv650 mirror's vibrating? Does anyone know of a solution or a mirror that doesn't vibrate?

Re: Sv 650 naked mirrors
Curvy or Pointy?

Re: Sv 650 naked mirrors
It's a pointy puny.
I didn't have issues with my naked ones vibrating. How much vibration are we talking cringer? Completely blinding? Do you have barends/weights fitted? Just, I can't see any pattern mirrors (mounting in the same way as standard) being any better for vibration - wondering if something else is amiss |
Re: Sv 650 naked mirrors
Nothing wrong with my mirrors either. Better than the ones I had on my 'S'

Re: Sv 650 naked mirrors
My curvy mirrors are fine - as Dave20046 asks, do you have bar-end weights, also are your wheels in balance?
Dave - my question was aimed at cringer. |
