Learn how to use your brakes right and HH pads are fine.
Got them on the rear of Suzy, and was warned 'they'll be grabby'... ballsocks! Never had an issue with them. I wouldn't hesitate to put them on the front if they needed to be replaced.
Personal preference.

Brakes are brakes.
Can't be any more grabby than the front of the Raptor surely?, its like having a bike as kid, and you going over the handle bars at a moments notice :-( But then they need stripping and cleaning. However they are much easier to clean theyy don't corrode like SV ones. Four pot Brembos :-) But the rears a **** for doing.

Only time I have had exp with organic is with the mountain bike, they were ok, cant really tell much difference between the stock organic and the EBC HH I have atm in there.

As to grabby, I have EBC HH in my brake's and they arnt grabby. (Can cost a lot though depending on caliper, RRP on mine is £95! Thank goodness for Ebay, £65 :p).

I've put organic ones in the SV, I didn't like how the front ones felt, they were ok on the rear.

Are OEM Triumph pads very expensive or is there something you don't like about them now? If the pads on the Prilia need changing one day I might just buy oem as I like how they perform.

Just replaced mine on the Z with EBC HH sintered, highly recommended! Makes a world of difference, saying that the pads i took off did look like Ryvita's

Used Goldfren HH pads on my SV - but let's face it, SV brakes need all the grab they can get.

They're not grabby in the slightest. HH pads might wear your discs a bit quicker than organic. Organic pads apparently have better cold braking properties (I read this somewhere).

How much thickness do standard pads have?

About 8-10mm I think.
