Wimbledon 2010
Well, it's here. I have no interest in tennis until this time each year, love watching it and then go back to not even knowing it exists.
Anyone else the same? Anyone else watching Murray almost at the end of the second set not having given a single game away??? |
Re: Wimbledon 2010
Can't watch it while at work but always watch it on an evening when I get home.
Me and drew are going to get up early on saturday morning and try and get in as they sell 6000 tickets on the gate each day. And I'm super excited about that! :-D |
Re: Wimbledon 2010
Cool. Yeah, I've always wanted to go, but the only person I know that would enjoy the tennis is my mum and any time anyone tries to do something nice for her, she ALWAYS manages to find something to moan about. So....I'll wait til I've got grown up kids and make them take me :-)

Re: Wimbledon 2010
I always watch Wimbledon, but whenever World Cup or Euro come a knocking, it tends to get sidelined.
Mind you, watched parts of Federers game yesterday briefly when he was two sets down and facing break points. He saved his butt magnificently, but needs to sort it out if he wants to win. Typical Federer though afterwards - gracious in victory. Didn't blame his own play or make excuses for only just scraping it, and gave the other guy full credit. Legend |

Ahh, 'Anyone But England' springs to mind here. I defend the Scots' right to support ABE but don't then try to convince me that Murray is 'British'. |

I think that is why I like Wimbledon actually, when you work from home, it's quiet enough to have on in the background, but the crowd always get noisy when it gets interesting enough to watch :-) |
