Kawasaki Ninja 250 parts help please.

Ok all, figured I'd start this thread in idle banter as it's not quite SV talk.

So here's the situation, the gf, "Ziv_girl" we'll call her- has bought herself a nice little project bike, a former owned track bike in the 250 league, a 2008 ninja. previous owner came off and sent it to auto salvage, the bike was formally an import as I believe.

From the pictures im sure you can see a lot of things that need doing, parts etc for all have pretty much been found, but what im struggling with getting so far, is the clip-on bars, and replacement side stand. Further more Ive looked and looked, even joined a kwakforum thats all about ninjas to try find an OEM parts cache like the Suzuki one most ppl use

http://www.alpha-sports.com/suzuki_parts.htm

Seriously the dinks on kwakforum aren't even a little bit helpful i dunno y i bothered. So was wondering if ANYBODY has ANY experience with 250 ninjas that can point me in the right direction.

in addition the Haynes manuel only goes as far as '07 250 ninja's, im presuming the model hasnt changed from 07-present which is y there isnt another manuel available, can anyone confirm?

Any help will be most appreciated

Indeed I do, there isn't a manual for the 2008 - and yes the 2007 and before is a different model.

I now have the 2009 model which is the same as the 2008. As Stu said, Stig now has my old one and that could do with a few new parts as he now has it as a Project bike.

We haven't really looked at sourcing any parts yet but will be.

When I had my off I took it to http://www.jhsracing.co.uk/ near Bristol who rebuilt it for me. You could try speaking to them.

2008 and 2009 models are identical, but are nothing like 250 Kawasakis such as the ZZR250 etc. They share the basic engine but that's it. All that changed for 2010 is the exhaust silencer is now matt black as opposed to the all chrome of the previous models.

Any main Kawasaki dealer should be able to source parts for this bike as it's a current UK model. If you want to look up parts online from a UK source, then Cornwall Kawasaki have a microfiche on their website.

Looking at that picture, I did a much better job at trashing 'mine' than that.
