...to completely and utterly risk everything, and change the way your life is, would you?

If you had to sell up to buy something bigger anyway, and you looked beyond the box of just upsizing, for the chance of a better life for your kids, live simply, rather than keeping up with the Jones and having an average type of house, in an average street, which you paid through the nose for to keep....would you up sticks, feck orf abroad, if the opportunity came around?

well ive been offered jobs abroad before that would easily double my wage and afford me a nice house as well. Ive also had a cracking offer up in aberdeen and all involve packing it up and moving off. However i havnt because (dont tell her) i wouldnt mind settling down with our lass and having a pop at some kids in the next few years so i want to be somewhere semi stress free.

know of a couple of people who are millionairs. The reason is they risked everything. I mean if it didnt pan out they would have been on the street homeless with their family. Personally i wouldnt risk it and think that this mediocre life i have isnt actually half bad at all :)

Well you all know me best mate lives over the pond, and I've mulled over moving before, but its always been more of a dream than a reality.
I have to sell the house to upgrade, between me and Peg we have a small budget in the grand scheme of things, that TBH even in Yorkshire could only buy some poxy small 3 bed semi, in an ok area, with a tiny garden and garage...much more than some people have, granted.
BUT for the maximum budget we could afford, we could have something like this

If somebody could help me magically transform my house into a completely redecorated place, I could get it on the market and run off now, but being fat and preggers I'm failing miserably.

housing market in the US is in a silly bad way at the minute. just come back from holiday in florida and my gf and i were having exactly the same discussion...
