That time of year again
 

I live on the extreme outskirts of the town with fields for miles and we are being invaded with tiny little black flies. Indoors or out they are every where and make me feel lousy,I even have them inside the computer screen. Does anybody else have this problem or is it purely rural?

Good source of protein. Eat them.

We used to get them down here but as the UK has warmed up they've moved further north.

Yep, I walked from a client site to my car.

Got in my car.

Went to put my seat belt on...

and booom what must have been 70+ little black flies had landed on my white shirt during the short walk and were now flying around my car.


Those little black hard shelled bugs are a pain to... they lay massive white grubs in your lawn then the foxes and hedgehogs come and dig them up wrecking your garden. Chaffer bugs or something they are called. They look for moisture so when you hang your washing out they land on you and the washing lol
