Gear Indicator for Curvy

Anyone know of any easy straight fit gear indicators for Curvy?

I often forget what gear I'm in! and they look quite smart as well....although all the ones I have seen are pointy onry.

I always wondered if they were useful or not, but
my new Gladius has one as standard.
It is great when commuting in/out traffic
when you stop at lights you can do countdown to neutral.
I think some of the aftermarket ones work on revs/roadspeed.
Mine definitely works on gear lever position.
I can go 1 to 6 and back to 1 without moving.

I do not know if the new SV also has this as standard.

I do not think I would fit one to a bike but would look to see if it is standard.

Well, the ones I have seen for the pointy look dead easy to fit, plug stright into the diagnostics port.

Just no such thing for the curvy it seems.

gadgets... pah, learn to count your gears like the rest of us... and once you know your bike you'll know by the revs and speed what gear you're in

Thats true enough I guess.

I do count, I just forget as I'm concentrating on so many other things too. All experience.

After you have ridden a while you will not need one.

He's right you know, once you get used to your bike and how it feels you'll know what gear you are in.

I rode a GSXR a while ago with a gear indcator on it, and I never looked at it once.

Perhaps this is part of my first-bike-want-to-bling-it-up (after crashing it) phase.

Possibly, Spending money on petrol is far more rewarding than spending it on bling though.
