The Blind Doe Rideout

Well I sort of got roped into organising a rideout and as I had no idea what to call it when to have it or where to take all you lucky people, I decided a good start would be to call it the Blind Doe!!
:smt046 get it?? no idea.... oh for gods sake I am not explaining it any more!

So i guess the first thing to do is organise a date for this so called rideout with a random direction. Now as we have numerous things on in August I thought a poll for September weekends would be best so feel free to cast your vote and I will sort out a route! :smt003

Ps can we keep banter to a minimum in this thread cheers!!

Might be having a bit of a shindig on the 11th, so later in the month would be better for me

Was thinking the earlier in September the better as far as weather and road conditions

Very provisional route to follow!

Re: The Blind Doe Rideout

Provisional Route is THIS

The route starts at a supermarket for fuelling purposes, lunches in Hawes and finishes at a petrol station right next to the M6.

Like I say this is very provisional and if anyone has any suggestions or knows of a better road than any part of the route let me know!

And for any of you who may want to arrive the night before, I may be being a little bit pre-emptive but there will be yokel orgers willing to provide a spare room/couch/floor!

IF it were late September, there may be a Dizz back on the road :-)

A few nice roads there, not a big fan of the A65 though. Too many plods in golfs with hair dryers in the Settle area. But you got my favourite bit over Quernmore and the back route from Caton to the bridge through Arkholme.

I'll not vote as no idea what I'll be doing. But if I'm free I'll tag along if I may.
