Is that the one with white roof and led running lights down each side of the front bumper. If it is it looks very cool. The only thing i'd be worried about is the fact that its French, will be made from cheese and held together with french spit. the french are good at creating some really chic looking cars though.

I bought a new citroen AX in the 90's and it fell to pieces, so i swore I'd never buy one again.
I later bought a new Xsara in 2000, which was great but had fallen to pieces by 2007.
I'd get the mini.

Latest J.D.Power survey results here

See what the owners say about owning the cars, not what fat journalists can be bothered to say.

Citroen as a manufacturer are just below the industry average for customer satisfaction. Is just below average good enough? It wouldn't be my choice but I'm prejudiced.

Resale values do worry me, Reading up online the build quailty is meant to be much better than old citroens, will take a look minis aswell even if it pains me to do so

I reckon the DS3 will be a good seller with good resale values. Its been well marketed unlike previous Citroens, has received glowing reviews and looks a much more funky car. I think when Gem looks to upgrade next year, we will be looking at one of these alongside the new Fiesta.

The New Mini ain't no BMW!!!! My friend had a Cooper and the Silver came off the door panel and the door handles!!! Plus the older ones have a horrible sounding power steering motor/pump thingy. I would of thought it would of been faultless being from one of the big hitters. Not a major fault admittedly but i'd expect more for my money.

the usual story here...my Mate has one and he loves it. He has a Red one with black roof and his nieghbour has a Yellow one with white roof...gay! anyway, he loves his actaully trading from a mini. They have the same 1.6 engine but the citroen is a bit lighter. The build qaulity belies Citroen's usual standard being up there imho with the mini. Looks wise, its a marmite car. I bloody hate this obsession with LED running lights on every car, and the DS3 has them vertical and at night it just looks chav. I have only been round the block, but it seemed perky enough and the sharp corner i took, it seemed happy enough.

There are also 4 of them on my estate, so becoming popular.

There is the DS3 Racing, now that would be a hoot

I know what you mean about the mini steering pump my friend had one and it sounds awful, his ownership is what put me off them in the first place. Got sometime tomorrow night and will go take a look
