looking at HID kits at the moment and im wondering where people are putting the ballasts and stuf on a naked bike ?

this is the kit im looking at LINK any one ever used that kit ?

id like to think i could stick the ballast at the back of the bike some where but not sure.

any pictures of the kit installed would be use full

The ballast bits dont seem huge, so how about mounting them on the inside of the frame somewhere, under the tank, similar to the reg/rec ?

yeh thats what i was thinking, the only thing is its already very cramped under the tank as i have loads of the front wiring loom shoved down there

Don`t know how much heat the ballasts give out either.
Or, how about behind the rear seat, side plastic panels, fixed to the frame somehow.

That's the sort of thing that I want to do, I have found some extension wires on the site so I should be able to do that some how but i don't know how until I get it I suppose

I got rid of rad expansion tank and put it in there. Hang expansion tank in front of rad instead. Horn compressor and ballast fit in that space.
